UV Clarifiers are often undersized or run too quickly, which leads to persistent green water.
A correctly sized UV system is essential for clear water during the warmer months. At the same time UV systems can easily be overkill if a large clarifier is selected costing more money which can be unnecessary.
Always remember after 12 months or so it is wise to check/change the internal UV Bulb to ensure it is still emitting UV as it did when new as like all equipment it will need servicing.
